耶利米 1:19 - With God on your side, you will go through the trials 和 emerge victorious!

耶利米 2:35 - God resists those who are self-righteous who refuse to admit their errors, but He forgives those who repent 和 submit to Him.

耶利米 7:11 - This mirrors what Jesus said when the merchants were desecrating the Temple.

耶利米 7:18 - There is no 'queen of heaven'. She is a false god. This is one of the errors that the Catholic Church is guilty of by worshipping the Virgin Mary. She, like us, needs the perfect forgiveness of God through accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord 和 Savior too.

"The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, 和 the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven; 和 they pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger." （耶利米 7:18)

耶利米 7:25-27 - God could have easily destroyed Israel completely seeing them descend into her complete sinfulness, but He has sent prophet after prophet to turn them back to Him. In the same way, our Heavenly Father is incredibly patient 和 loving towards us, not willing that any of us should perish.

耶利米 17:5-8 - If you are under the Law, you're cursed. If you're under grace, you're blessed 和 enjoy unceasing fruitfulness.

耶利米 21：8-10 - God is very merciful. Even right before the tragedy strikes, He still gives the people of Israel a choice to live. God always gives us a choice: to choose life, or to choose death. He doesn't rob us of the gift of free will.

耶利米 29：8-9 - Not all dreams are from God. Beware of false prophets.

耶利米 29：11-13 - Despite the sinfulness of Jerusalem 和 Judah, God still loved them, 和 prepared a blessed future for them. How much more blessed will He prepare our future, now that we are made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus? Smiling face with open mouth 和 smiling eyes When we call upon Him, pray to Him, God hears us. When we seek Him we will find Him if we do it sincerely.

耶利米 (meaning "The Lord Exalts"), also called the "Weeping prophet", was one of the major prophets of the Old Testament. 耶利米 is traditionally credited with authoring the Book of 耶利米, 1 Kings, 2 Kings 和 the Book of Lamentations, with the assistance 和 under the editorship of Baruch ben Neriah, his scribe 和 disciple.

There's lots of significance in the names of the people mentioned in the Book of 耶利米

Shemaiah的意思是“主听见”。

Jehoiada的意思是“耶和华知道”。

Zephaniah的意思是“耶和华隐藏了”。

耶利米 31：2 - When God gives rest through giving His grace - the undeserved, unmerited, unearned favor of God. When you're living by grace, you're enjoying God's rest.

耶利米 33：3 - If we call to God, He will answer us. He reveals to us His knowledge which cannot be known in the natural.

耶利米 33：6-9 - God's promises to Israel are also for us to receive. We are promised health 和 healing, an abundance of peace 和 truth, forgiveness of all our sins, goodness 和 prosperity from God.

耶利米 34：18-19 - A covenant is established through the shedding of blood.

耶利米 38:20 - This is the attitude that we should have towards those who have not received Jesus as their Lord 和 Savior yet. Our plea could be "Please receive Jesus Christ as your Lord 和 Savior so that it shall be well with you 和 your soul shall live!"

耶利米 39：11-12 - God had given 耶利米 His divine protection, such that King Nebuchadnezzar specially told the captain of the guard to look after 耶利米和 do him no harm. God protects His people from evil.

"“Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning 耶利米 to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying, “带他照顾他，不伤害他。就像他对你说的那样对他。””" (‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭39:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

耶利米 44：25-29 - God's words will surely come to pass. There is no way that man can challenge God's words.

耶利米 46:28 - God disciplines His people for the purpose of correction, whereas those who are not His people will be destroyed. Now under the new covenant of grace, we are not corrected by sword, famine 和 disasters, but by the Holy Spirit who is our teacher 和 guide.

耶利米 52：31-34 - King Jehoiachin is an ancestor of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was shown grace 和 favor by Evil-Merodach, the son 和 successor of Nebuchadnezzar.

The prophet 耶利米 was a courageous man, speaking God's word to Jerusalem 和 Judah without holding any truths back. He suffered great persecution from the Jews 和 despite that, He carried on speaking God's words for at least 40 years, pleading Jerusalem 和 Judah to repent of their spiritual adultery of worshipping foreign gods, 和 warning them of the impending destruction of Jerusalem by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He did so in love, 和 sorrowfully. His dedication to God 和 His people is extremely admirable, 和 it inspires me to continue to persevere in sharing God's word to the people around us. It also encourages me to step into the fullness of God's great plan 和 destiny for my life.

Nebuchadnezzar II (634 – 562 BC) was an Assyrian king of the Neo-Babylonian Empire, who reigned c. 605 BC – 562 BC. Both the construction of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon 和 the destruction of Jerusalem's temple are ascribed to him. He is featured in the Book of Daniel 和 is mentioned in the Book of 耶利米和 other books of the Bible.
